Method
Wash and dry chestnuts. With a sharp knife carefully cut make the top of the chestnut. Another option is to put the chestnut lying horizontally on the board and make a cut with a knife on the sheet. The second option is safer. Chestnuts are put in hot water for about 2-3 minutes, then transfer to a baking dish. Bake in a preheated 200C degrees oven for about 30 minutes. Once the chestnuts are roasted, are removed from the oven and transfer to a towel for about 5 minutes. Thus chestnuts to be peeled easily. Serve warm.

Very nice picture, aesthetically styled. :) I rarely find chestnuts, but I love it so, so far I'm soak them in hot water, however, what is the purpose of soaking?
Thank you, Anna! And I really love chestnuts :) For the first time the heat, I did not know what to do, dug in the internet and I came across this recipe (May only one in which the chestnuts soak) :), so I'm very aware of what is the purpose :)
I do not soak in water - do a section on one entire side of the chestnut (making sure to cut only the outer sheet without hurting inside) roast in a hot oven for 25-30 minutes and then Eat while warm ( without taking into cloth) and cool peel harder. Requires prior soaking in water with an idea to peel more easily then.
Yes, very easily peeled. I can, however, decide whether easier than without soaking (Peko chestnuts for the first time) :)
Remind me many years ago, pregnant with her son, roasting chestnuts in Locked Pernik stove. As they clanked chestnut flew up! Children's brains! :) Who do you know that you need to split! Reni at the earliest opportunity will bake chestnuts that way. :)
Ina and I had no idea that so bake :) Well, I looked on the internet and otherwise I would fly :) :)
Yes, today will prepare ... much like chestnuts :)
