Stewed lamb in Irish

Ingredients
500 g lamb meat without bones
900 g potatoes
3 onions
parsley
pepper
salt

Method
Fat from meat is removed and cut into cubes. Cut the onion and potatoes on wheels, add salt and sprinkle with pepper. Arranged on the bottom of a fireproof container half the potatoes on top and put the meat and onions on top again potatoes, pour water or broth so as to cover the bottom row of potatoes and meat. Suffocating under a cover on the stove or in low oven for about 2 hours until the meat is tender. The finished dish is sprinkled with chopped parsley.
