Stuffed leeks with rice and minced meat

Ingredients
2-3 leeks
200 g rice
150-200 g minced meat
1 green pepper
1 red pepper
2-3 carrots
250 g of tomato paste
cube broth, spices
# TOPPING:
200 g yogurt
1 egg
1 tbsp flour

Method
Thickest part of the leeks cut into cylinders split and draw the outer layers. The remaining leek stew under cover in fat with green pepper, red pepper, carrots, bouillon cube, minced meat and tomato paste. Boil the rice in salted water until almost ready. Mix with vegetable mixture and the minced meat, add spices to taste and fill the cylinders. Place the cut with the bottom of the pan and pour water. Do not use a fan to not dry empty. * to me was quite filling and put it in the tray razstelih the cylinders ordered from above. Shortly before I poured out of the oven with topping.

Once I tried to do stuffed leeks (egg-cheesy mixture) and got great taste, but a real pain to eat - leeks remained tough and in no way are cut ... Great fight while it was eat :) Mitia, you have you had this problem?

For now I cooked dish just once and get it. :)

Xevi, not only you :). Two years ago at Christmas made post sarmi leeks stuffed with lentils - glorified dish with delicious taste of lentil sauce ... Although I used the inner part of the leeks, blanch it, my result was similar to yours. Then after frying them and boil, but so hard shell get that stuffed remained only dredged inside :). I guess you probably have a variety and more fragile leeks.
