American apple pie from Massachusetts

Ingredients
250 g butter
350 g flour
egg 1
1 tsp (5 ml) vinegar
cinnamon
1/3 cup (70 g) sugar
1.5 kg apples

Method
Peel apples and cut into cubes. Sprinkle with sugar (can put more sugar if apples are sour), and cinnamon to taste 2 tbsp (20 g) flour. The dough is kneaded the flour, butter and macerate 2 tbsp (20 ml) of water, which is mixed half of the egg and vinegar. The dough is divided in two. Roll 2 pastry - with one lean bottom of a small baking dish, but so that it goes over the side (the goal is to be able to pinch the upper crust). Pour apples (no problem to form a fairly large bunch). Cover the top with second crust and pinch the ends. You can decorate with cut dough and apple leaves. By pozapeche, smeared with egg yolk and sprinkle lightly with granulated sugar and bake again a beautiful color. Attention tray really should be small to allow the pie to be high and the best is aluminum, but after firing must be removed from it. There is no need to crouch, because the dough is oil.

It was great, but popromenih little things slowed oil does not become greasy, increased the pretty and sugar! Wonderful happened!

Finally I found apple pie, which I ate in Boston, Massachusetts, and since then I've never forgotten. Is great!
