Ingredients
1/4 cup softened butter
1/2 cup walnuts or other nuts
1/4 cup brown sugar
readymade dough for pie pan with a diameter of 23 cm
6 apples
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
pinch of grated nutmeg
Method
The bottom of the pan, sprinkle with flour. Sprinkle the walnuts and brown sugar. Cover with half the dough. In a bowl mix the peeled and sliced apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour the mixture over the dough. Lightly moisten one end. Cover with the other half of dough and pressed well two wafers together. Make a hole in the center. Cake bake on a baking sheet at 180 C for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Carefully release the ends and invert onto a serving plate. Dessert is served warm.
