Submitted by enr on 10 Jul 2003
Ingredients
1 and 1/4 cup (250 g) flour
1/3 cup (70 ml) vegetable oil
1 tsp (5 g) baking powder
4-5 fleshy peppers
200 g fish fillet
2-3 sprigs of parsley
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
few olives
pepper
salt
Method
From the flour, baking powder, 1/4 cup (50 ml) vegetable oil and a pinch of salt knead dough. If necessary, add 1-2 tbsp water. Roll out and it covers the bottom of the baking tin. Peppers cut into rings (or thin strips), fry in the remaining vegetable oil, make a little water and sauté until tender. Leave to cool and pour over the dough. Above are allocated several pieces of raw fish and chopped olives. Season with salt and pepper (to taste). Sprinkle with finely chopped onion, garlic and parsley. Spread with a little vegetable oil and bake in moderate oven for 30-40 minutes. The dough can be covered with a mixture of boiled, chopped spinach, 3 finely chopped onions and 1 tbsp pure, ground almonds and small black raisins.
