Peppery mulled wine

Ingredients
750 ml red wine
1/2 cup sugar
2 cinnamon sticks
pinch of ginger
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp allspice beans
1 cup brandy
1 cup orange juice
1 orange
Method
Orange cut in large pieces and all the ingredients are mixed in a large saucepan and put on medium stove. The mixture was allowed to simmer for 20 minutes without boiling. Strain and serve hot.
