Rice in Afghanistan

1 cup Basmati
2 carrots
50 g raisins
1 tbsp honey
pinch cumin
pinch saffron
soy sauce
20-30 ml sunflower oil

Peel and cut carrots into lenichki, stew them with fat after pozadushat add raisins and honey. Once the raisins inflate, take off the court from the heat. In a large saucepan pour 1.5 liters of water. After the boil, pour the washed rice and saffron. Boil until his heart is slightly raw. Then drained and pour it back into the pan. With the opposite of a wooden spoon make a few holes, add the cumin and soy sauce, pour 100-150 ml water. Put the pan back on the stove to boil only slightly and take away, take a towel, folding it in two, put it on the pan and then I transfer the covered lid. Leave the rice for about half an hour. Then mix it with the vegetables and mix. Optional you can add any pre-steamed vegetables or meat.
