Method
Cut the eggplants slices or sliced, add salt and leave to drain the bitterness. Then fry briefly in fat. Courgettes are cut and can also saute. The potatoes are sliced. Peppers bake, peel and cut into cubes or strips. Prepare stuffing as fry the onion, garlic, carrot. Add the mince and fry once put paprika and peeled and mashed tomatoes. Finally, put some salt and spices. The bottom of the pan put a little of the stuffing. Then line up the potatoes, put it back stuffing least prepared Bechamel sauce, peppers, eggplants are lining or zucchini, again filling, sauce and so on until we run out of products. Finally pour over the sauce. Bake in preheated oven at 200 C for 30-40 minutes (until tender potatoes). Optional can be sprinkled with a bit of cheese before it is ready moussaka. * The dish is very tasty, but preparation is quite long. In order not to become too fat may courgettes not browning, although becoming more delicious.

This is not a Greek moussaka.

Post photo / recipe of your Greek moussaka. As you do not like do not make it. Moreover, this site has many variants of different recipes - a matter of interpretation.

My grandmother was Greek and produce it in the same way with a slight difference -Potatoes also fry them lightly. I do not remember whether it was put cinnamon, but I mean that it is much used in Greek cuisine is certainly tasty, although I really do not love her as a spice. Moussaka is great, really takes more time, but worth it. Indeed, little is tezhichka for fry of most products, but this can be avoided by instead of fried courgettes and aubergines roasted, grilled or grill pan. My assessment excellent!

Thank you very much for the nice comment :) Cinnamon might avoid, but I try it with a little cinnamon and hardly felt like taste. Gives a slight aroma. I agree that in a very original recipe and potatoes are fried, and even peppers too, but be not very greasy, I prefer not to fry. Next time you do, you will bake the courgettes and aubergines grilled and I'm sure it will still be delicious. It's good for everyone to experiment and to prepare your own :)

this is ideal moussaka! Abe Denka as write Greek moussaka in google you go a hundred different options, so please do not pretend to be interesting!

Joras, I'm glad you liked the recipe :) I agree that there are many variations of this recipe, as well as many others on the site. :)
