Ingredients
3 cups (600 g) flour
1 cup (200 g) chopped walnuts
1 cup (200 g) sugar
1 yolk
10-15 (100 g) almond nuts
1-2 cloves
125 g butter
Method
From the flour with a little salt and water is cooked dough banitsa, which is rolled into thin sheets ( as baklava). The leaves are arranged in a greased pan with butter, sprinkle with as melted butter and the mixture of kernels, sugar and crushed cloves. The top sheet is sprinkled with butter. Before withdrawing from the oven, the banitsa is coated with beaten egg yolk and prick with peeled almond nuts.
