Cigar with poppy filling

Ingredients
# For the dough:
3 cups flour
1/2 cup ground almonds
1 and 1/2. l baking powder
pinch of salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup butter
1 egg
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp grated lemon peel
2 tbsp water
# For the filling:
1 cup poppy seed
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup honey
1/3 cup very finely chopped dates or raisins
1/3 cup toasted peeled almonds
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Method
Mix the flour, almonds, baking powder, salt and sugar. Cut the butter into small cubes and mixed with flour, rub until crumbs. Mix the eggs with the lemon juice and water and add to the flour mixture and mix a smooth dough. Divide into 8 pieces and roll each to a thickness of 5 mm, then cut into squares 10x10 cm. Stuffing is made by mixing all the products and cook while stirring at a very low temperature - until the mixture thickens. Allow to cool completely and then is placed in each square, turn on the cigar and put in a pan covered with buttered paper and bake at 180 C for 15-20 minutes.
