Fried slices in French

Ingredients
6 eggs
1 and 1/2 cup cream
2 vanilla
cinnamon
pinch nutmeg
pinch of salt
6 slices of dry bread
4 tbsp butter
4 tbsp sunflower oil
Method
Beat the eggs in a bowl, cream, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Place the slices in a baking dish large enough to line up on one layer. Pour over top with egg mixture and allow to soak for about 5 minutes. Turn the slices and leave for another 5 minutes. Heat the butter and the oil in a pan and fry the slices until golden on both sides. Remove and leave them on a wire rack or towel to drain the fat. Serve hot.
