Ingredients
2 herring (400-500 g)
1 kg potatoes
1 apple
1 onion
50-100 g margarine
2-3 tbsp mustard
1-2 sprigs of dill
1 tsp sage (sage)

Method
Potatoes cut into thin slices and arrange in a buttered pan with margarine, adding and onion cut in crescents. The apple is washed and without white is bisects. Each half cut into crescents and with them cover the first row of potatoes and onions. Make a second row of potatoes and onions, add salt, put a few pieces of margarine and 4-5 tbsp water. Bake in a moderate oven at 180 C for 10-15 minutes approximately. Herring is filleted and then fillets are salting, smeared with mustard and sprinkle with chopped dill. Wound on rolls and pinned onto a toothpick. On semi potatoes are placed herring rolls, sprinkle with a little oil, crushed sage and fennel. Bake again at the same temperature for 20-30 minutes. Optional in serving each portion can be garnished with sour cream.
