Jam oranges or lemons

550 g of oranges or lemons
1 kg of sugar
1 tsp (5 g) tartaric or citric acid
1 liter of water
The sheet is scraped with tiny part with fine grater. Prick the fruit with a thick needle in several places. 3-4 boiled in water for 4-5 minutes. After each boiling placed in cold water. The sugar and water is prepared polusgasten sugar syrup. Cool fruit is cut into pieces and placed in the syrup. Sweet boil to cook the fruit and thicken the syrup. A solution in hot water tartaric acid and boiling continued for a further 2-3 minutes. Boiled sweet allowed to stand for 5-6 hours in effuse pan, then pour into jars.
