Santiago Cake (Tarta de Santiago)

500 g ground almonds
500 g sugar
7 eggs
100 g butter
150 g flour
1 tsp cinnamon
50 ml sherry or other sweet wine (such as port)
50 g of powdered sugar
1 tbsp water
