Stewed beef with onions

Ingredients
600 g of beef
3 cloves garlic
4 tbsp (40 ml) of olive oil
200 g of tomato paste
500 g small onions
1/2 cup (100 ml) red wine
lemon
parsley
pepper
salt
Method
The meat is cut into pieces of 6x9 cm, add salt and sprinkle with black pepper. Fry in sunflower oil with peeled onions and garlic, add the tomato paste and wine, capped with a close fitting lid and stew until soft to very low heat. The sauce should be very thick. Decorate with lemon slices, chopped parsley and serve.

Just want to add that the real name of this recipe is *stifado* and can be prepared with chicken or rabbit meat, which is more common in Greece.
