Stewed chicory

Ingredients
700 g chicory
60 g butter
1 tbsp (10 ml) lemon juice
salt
Method
Solid washed chicory leaves are removed. In a suitable container the butter, lemon juice, salt, 3 tbsp (30 ml) of water, chicory, the mixture is stirred and Cover tightly with a lid. Stew to soften a very low heat. Place softened chicory on a warm platter and pour the sauce slightly thickened.
