Chicken with potatoes Chinese

2 chicken steak
400 g potatoes
4 cloves garlic
1 tsp chopped ginger root
1 tbsp soy sauce
# For the sauce:
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp starch
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2-3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp ketchup
Chicken wash and cut into in small pieces. In a deep dish fry garlic and ginger for a minute. Add chicken and fry until golden on all sides. Pour 1 tablespoon soy sauce and stir. Peel the potatoes, cut into in large pieces and add to the meat. Fry and pour 1/2 cup water. Boil under cover and over low heat about 25 minutes or until the potatoes when pressed crease. During cooking, if necessary, add more water. In a cup mix products sauce. First water with the starch until dissolved, and then other products. The sauce was added and stirred until it thickens about 2 minutes.
