Ingredients
400 g filo pastry
# For the filling:
6-7 carrots
1 cup sugar
1 cup walnuts
1/2 cup sunflower oil
1 pinch cinnamon
# For sprinkling:
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 pinch cinnamon
2 cloves
Method
Carrots are cleaned, washed and grated. Stew in 2 tbsp of the oil and a little water until tender. Remove from heat and add to chopped walnuts, sugar and cinnamon. Take two sheets, folded in two and sprinkle with sunflower oil. the filling is evenly distributed and the sheet is rolled. Similarly make other cigar. Bake in preheated 180 C oven until golden brown. Serve warm, lavishly sprinkled with a mixture of powdered sugar, cinnamon and chopped cloves.
