Gingerbread

Ingredients
750 g of honey
200 g sugar
100 g pork lard
pinch of salt
1,150 kg flour
250 g almonds
pinch of cardamom
3 tsp (15 g) cinnamon
2 eggs
20 g ammonia soda

Method
Sugar, honey, the lard and salt is heated in a deep frying pan while stirring, then allow to cool. Flour and spices were mixed and placed in a bowl and in the center is formed well. It poured the cooled honey mixture and beaten eggs, soda and ammonia. First was stirred with a spoon, with scoops meal ends. Then knead the dough inwards. Kneading continues onto a board, while to form a good dough was allowed to rest for 30 minutes. Roll out the dough into a sheet with a thickness of 5 mm and it cut shapes. Decorate with almonds. Bottom of the tray is covered with foil. Bake in preheated oven.
