Yeast mixed with 2 tbsp flour, a pinch of sugar and a little lukewarm water as you become a slurry. Mix well and leave to swell. The rest of the flour is made with well and there were added the eggs, the oil, milk, salt and yeast. Izmesva is soft dough and let rise. Roll is 6 sheets. Lining to one another with each sheet put in 2-3 tbsp of melted butter and a bit of the feta cheese. Top also put butter and feta cheese. Cut into squares and leave to rise. Bake in a moderate oven until browned.

interesting recipe. Why is said Steamer? I first thought it was nipped :)

Honestly, I have no idea. Friends told me that many love it because there is a lot of cheese. We asked for the recipe from his mother and walked out. But will ask if anyone knows where it comes from the name.

Share, if you know something :)

Such *poparenik* of yeast dough and did my grandmother. A name comes from the probability if left uneaten piece the next day to shred in bread and milk. But it was so delicious that I never left.

Nelly, very interesting story! We are two and it left us, but we were really tasty.

Steamer-cake with cheese and grease ... is typical of the Bansko region, and as mentioned by Nelly the next day was done sop for domachadieto-kneading a daily basis and in large quantities, families were members mnogobriyni and always remained so for others. day!

I eat Steamer in Bansko, the first association is that it is a delicious cheese cake, but not opine aloud that once sgafih with kapama as opine regarding -how is open ,, ,, recipe :) .. .poparnika was shaped wafers-turned snails and fat mass is only .. :) and will try your recipe :)
