Spinach roll Astera

Ingredients
300 g spinach
300 g cornmeal
120 g solid feta cheese
50 g butter
salt
Method
In 500 ml boiling salted water gradually pour the flour. Stir for about 30 minutes and be careful not become lumpy. It should be a thick mixture, which was poured into a greased butter form. Form a rectangle 1 cm thick. Spinach stew with remaining butter and spread on corn mixture. Sprinkle with grated feta cheese and allow to cool. Wound on a roll, wrapped in cheesecloth, as tighten all. Placed for 5 minutes in boiling water. Once cool, cut into slices. Serve with melted butter.

interests. I understand it as a roll of polenta. As curl, do not you crack? I have preserved salt bush and try to do it.

Indeed, the taste is just like polenta with spinach. I'm not doing it, but my grandmother makes from time to time. I think it does not crack. But it must be cold rolled and shaped with hands.
