There mandarin peels which are not so bitter. They are very intense orange color, large and their skin is very thin. I before I decided to do the cake just try the taste of sheet.

I do not understand exactly what you want to explain to you! Mandarins not pretreated in any way! A washing - not just wash them with hot water and scrub them with a brush. I think it is more than clear that we need to do.

I do not further processed citrus rind before use - a good wash with a sponge as you wash the dishes. Preservatives and other substances that are processed not bother me - the quantities that are placed are usually very small and then go through a continuous heat treatment (baking product). Given how thin peel mandarins, I do not think that will be a problem. Furthermore vanja answer the question for mandarins as she prepared, but it does not oblige anyone to do it the same way. If you think there is a better way of processing - use it (or you can post it here as an option :). But let's not be asked in a roundabout way - we are not in school and if you have something to say about him.

If you are worried by the fact that the mandarins are whole - do not. Give a slight bitterness, but it only adds flavor, not worse. To me I loved it hardly stopped not eat it once. Mandarins was using were seedless and ground them were of very fine mess, sheet never differed. Not clicked that I try it, because unfortunately kind of did not get :( I do not rushed at all and was very close ... I used some yogurt, it can cause, or soda, which may have expired life or something I hit flour. Nothing, I will try :)
