Knuckle with figs, caramel and coffee

250 g Pitted dates, chopped
125 ml espresso
1 tsp vanilla
180 g flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
200 g caramel ( topping or jar)
135 g muesli
90 g brown sugar
120 g chopped almonds
180 g melted butter
1 tbsp caster sugar

Heat the oven to 180 C. on a rectangular tray standing in aluminum foil, which namaslyava. Dates and coffee mixed in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens (3-5 minutes). Was then added and vanilla, stirred and allowed to cool. In a bowl mix the flour, baking soda and a pinch of salt. Caramel leaving about 80 g, to be used at the end of the recipe. In flour add remaining caramel, almonds, muesli and sugar. Mix well. Add the melted butter. Stir gently until the mixture is crumbly. In tray Slateno half of this mixture as it is spread well and uniformly. Spread the mixture on top of the dates, coffee and vanilla, as applied evenly. Apply half of frangible mixture, spread evenly on top. Bake 30-40 minutes until golden brown cake catch. Remove from the oven and pour the remaining caramel. Cake is allowed to cool. Then sprinkled with powdered sugar and cut into 16 squares or diamonds. It is recommended to cover the cake with foil and stored for 2 days at room temperature before eating.
