French toast with wine

Ingredients
4 tbsp caster sugar
1 cup red wine
1-2 tsp cinnamon
500 g dry white bread without crust
3 egg whites
powdered sugar for sprinkling
Method
Powdered sugar dissolves in the wine and add the cinnamon. The bread is cut into thin slices, which are dipped in sweetened wine, then in the beaten egg whites and fry. Serve hot, sprinkled with powdered sugar.
