Layered cake with mandarin - II type

Ingredients
# For abase:
4 eggs
4 tbsp hot water
175 g sugar
150 g flour
50 g starch
2 tbsp baking powder
1 vanilla
# For garnish:
350 g peeled tangerines
2 chocolate wafers
250 g cottage cheese or cream cheese
100 g sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
650 g cream
# To decorate:
2-3 mandarins
leaves of lemon balm or mint

Method
Eggs Breaking in foam water. Add sugar and vanilla and the mixture was stirred for an additional 2-3 minutes. The flour, starch and baking powder were sifted and gradually added to the egg mixture while stirring. Pour dough in a baking dish with dametar 28 cm, covered with oiled paper. Bake 25-30 minutes in preheated oven at 180 C. The base is removed and released from the paper and leave to cool. Then cut into two parts. Mandarins are thoroughly cleaned from the skins and arrange slices on the bottom half of the base, inserted into the cake pan. The cottage cheese, lemon juice and half the sugar is broken down into a smooth mass. Add cream, whipped separately with the remaining sugar finally add finely crushed chocolate wafers (part of them remain for decoration). 2/3 the well mixed cream is poured over the mandarins. Top put the other part of the base. The cake is smoothed on all sides by the rest of the cream and leave for 1 hour in the refrigerator. Mandarin decoration Peel, cleaned skins and slices are dipped briefly in a sugar syrup or diluted with water light marmalade. Drain well and arranged beautifully on the cream. The cake is decorated with pieces of wafers and leaves of lemon balm or mint.

cream - liquid or sour?

The cream must be liquid.

Maybe with sour cream, right in grams. Milena best would say.
