Pork in Greek

Submitted by enr on 09 Jul 2004
Ingredients
4 pork chops
2-3 cloves garlic
1 onion
salt
pepper
paprika
savory
sunflower oil
Method
The meat is put in a marinade made from ground garlic, chopped onions and spices to taste. Pour sunflower oil to cover the meat. Allow to stand in marinade at least 15 minutes, then bake at BBQ. This marinade meat becomes more tender and ready to eat much more quickly. Need not be overcooked.

Bravo! I love quick and delicious steaks.

True it very nice, even can be baked in the oven with coarsely chopped potatoes and carrots.

And so it becomes, but it will be more tasty and tender, if at first pour lemon juice thoroughly, then put the spices and finally the oil, which is broken as with garlic mayonnaise.

only to ask, in Greece you have savory and something else in our southern neighbor is not konsomira much garlic so that these chapters 2-3 are too many maybe one, two slices

In Greece there are savory, but in some parts did not enjoy and know. However roast pork spice oregano without first hearing. Another issue is the red pepper, which also rarely used in Greece. As to the use of chesan- occurs in a lot of Greek yastiya- gemista, skordalya, meatballs and so on.. In a nutshell I think this recipe is not Greek.
