Arabic meatballs in a soupy sauce

Ingredients
# For the meatballs:
500 g minced meat
1 egg
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp ginger
pinch of cayenne pepper
# For sauce:
2 tomatoes
1 onion
6-7 cloves garlic
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp curry
1/2 tsp cumin
salt
sunflower oil or olive oil

Method
Minced meat is kneaded with egg and spices and let stand for half an hour. Chop the onion finely and fry in 4-5 tbsp olive oil (sunflower oil), until translucent. Add peeled and grated tomatoes, coarsely chopped cloves garlic, seasoning and add salt to taste. From mince make small balls the size of a walnut, oval flour and placed in the boiling tomato sauce. Boil on low heat about 30 minutes. Serve sprinkled with fresh basil.
