Cake with raisins and walnuts

Ingredients
150 g butter
1 and 1/4 cup (250 g) powdered sugar
4 eggs
2 tbsp (20 ml) cognac
1/2 cup (100 ml) milk
1 packet of baking powder
600 g flour
70 g raisins
50 g walnuts
powdered sugar for sprinkling
Method
The butter mix with sugar until blanching, one by one, add the yolks and stir very well. Successively added brandy, lukewarm milk, baking powder, flour, raisins, rolled in flour and chopped walnuts. At the end carefully add the beaten egg whites to stiff. Pour the mixture into a buttered and dusted with flour pan. Bake in a moderate oven. Baked cake sprinkled with powdered sugar.
