Chickpeas with meatballs

Ingredients
500 g beef
1 egg
1 tsp thyme, crushed
1/2 tsp cumin, ground
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
paprika, black pepper, salt
800 g chickpeas canned chickpeas
1 onion
oil
parsley or mint (optional)

Method
Minced meat is kneaded with egg, breadcrumbs, thyme, cumin, red and black pepper, and salt. Allow 15 minutes to take. Formed into balls. In a saucepan fry the onion, cut into strips. Insert the entire can of chickpeas (with juice) and make another 200 ml water. Put salt and pepper, allow to boil. Put them meatballs, reduce fire and was capped. Boil for 25-30 minutes. Serve sprinkled with chopped parsley or mint, or with cayenne pepper (optional).

Sounds tasty Rally, I'm not so cooked chickpeas and required the next time the meatballs are cooked in this way.
