Ingredients
500-550 g flour
300-350 ml soda
5 tbsp sunflower oil
3 tbsp lemon juice
1 and 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda

Method
Sieve 3 times 500 g of flour (4 cup of 200 ml) and salt. Reference is well in the center, in which is placed the sugar. In a cup of baking soda dissolved in lemon juice. Effervescent mixture was poured into the well. Gradually add 300 ml a warm soda. Knead dough. If necessary add more than soda. For me, 300 ml, were sufficient. Place on a lightly floured surface. Kneads smooth and soft dough and shape into a ball. Place in a greased or covered with baking paper tray 20 cm. Spread evenly and smeared with sunflower oil (olive oil). Bake in preheated oven at 170-180 degrees C. The baked pita, hot, again smeared with oil (I used olive oil). Cover with a cloth and leave it to cool on a wire rack. * The pita becomes very soft, not inferior to those made with yeast.
