Remove stumps mushrooms and carve well inside the mushrooms. Coat the inside of the mushrooms thoroughly with butter. Place a piece of cheese in each mushroom cap. Bake in preheated oven until the mushrooms are soft and the cheese becomes golden - about 20 minutes. Serve with meat of your choice.
