Cake with caramel and apples

Ingredients
# For the base:
300 g biscuits
125 g butter
140 g sugar
5 apples, peeled, cleaned and cut into slices
1 tbsp rum (brandy or other aromatic alcohol)
# For topping:
250 ml cream, sweetened
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 yolks

Method
Crush the biscuits into small pieces. Add them melted butter and mix well until a homogeneous mixture. Spread the mixture into the pan and forms a ledge at the end. No need to be greased pan with fat. Pour the sugar in a large pan and cook until caramelized. Add to the pan of sliced ​​apples and cook gently stirring until the caramel has dissolved (apple juice and put the caramel hardens initially) and cover them from all sides. Add rum, stir and remove from fire. Spread the caramelized apples on a biscuit base. Beat the egg yolks and mix with the cream and vanilla extract. Pour the apples with the mixture, place in oven heated to 160C and bake for about 40 minutes. After removing the cake from the oven let it cool completely in shape before removing it.

This selection will be a real luxury

It is very tasty. I put the whole egg. So the cream became tight and not sag. Oshte warm it spreads fine with raspberry jam. The next day is ochte a beautiful and delicious!
