I did not understand the filling for a puff pastry crust or is about 500g. Typically, a package of 500g is split into two. I see very little about 500g dough. Something not very clear.

vanja, I do like snails, but no spices, only puff pastry spread with soft cheese (salty) and roast them to bed. My sheets puff pastry around 25x25 cm, 3 mm thick and 500 grams are 3 pieces - for such a set dose filling enough. Layer cheese should not be thick, otherwise just ran. In my memories, years ago I enjoyed package puff pastry 1 sheet of 500 g, but these things change, besides, depending on location are different, so it should be decided on the ground, open the package :)

Just to add, I would not curled around the sheet - very thick roll will occur and may not be baked inside. Diameter ohlyuvchetata well be below 7-8 cm.

Yesterday I made them. I could not wait for this response and experimented. I thought the dough, which I have taken is 500g, but it turned out that it is 800g. Was divided into two. I did a double stuffing with 1 bunch parsley 1/2 bunch basil and get better. I appoint them to bed, but in the recipe says that roll covered with yolk, suggesting that must be faced and so I baked them, but baking is tilted. Dough roll it up from the long side to not become very thick. Once baked diameter was about 7-8 cm. For the filling - the thickness depends on the thickness of the sheet. Roughly guessing proportions. Only wrong, it is not ordered them to bed.

I'm glad you still have received :)
