Mulled wine Negus

Ingredients
2 and 1/2 cup water
1 and 1/4 cup sugar
36 cloves
6 cinnamon sticks
1 tbsp nutmeg
3 lemons
oranges 2
2 cup lemon juice
3 liters of red wine
lemon slices for garnish
Method
Rind of lemons and oranges are scraped, then squeeze the juice they are added to the lemon juice. In a saucepan put water, sugar, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg and peel of the fruit. The mixture is placed on the stove and boil for 5 minutes. The syrup is drained into a saucepan and add the citrus juice. Add red wine and pita and nathe heat, but not boil. The fire is reduced to the least and the mixture is left covered. Serve hot, garnished with lemon slices.
