Potato Dumplings

Ingredients
500 g potatoes
1 onion
20 g butter
50 g starch
1 egg
60 g breadcrumbs
Salt
nutmeg
2 tbsp parsley
Method
Peel the potatoes and put to boil. During this time, fry the finely chopped onion in the butter and leave to cool. Cooked potatoes are creased or passed through press potatoes. Add the onion, egg, starch and breadcrumbs. It is well kneaded. Finally add the parsley, salt and nutmeg. With wet hands, form balls 6-8. In a saucepan put to boil salted water. Reduce the stove, so the water just to boil. Pour a dumpling. After about 5 minutes when the float to the top, are prepared. Dumplings must boil, then disintegrate.

Thanks for the recipe! Became a great side dish to goulash! But if you try to boil katrofite without them white will avoid the use of starch and the result will be even - good.

... because peeled potatoes absorb much more water during cooking and accordingly then it evaporates ... and they have solder as starch or flour

and I was like I had gotten these dumplings and I made a post supichka with them .... stanaaaaaaa .... super delicious !!!!cabbage and carrot jar of mushroom + + several large onion, parsley and as it happened I added on *your* dumplings, but a small bead .... now my people lick their fingers :)))))

Super idea is that meatball soup potatoes! Take it and put it separately you? Do you have pictures? Put, if you do, please! :-)

I did not take pictures because I did not think, but recipe can run - it became something between borscht and vegetable soup, but nutmeg in dumplings and give great flavor
