Ingredients
# For the salsa:
500 g strawberries, cut into small cubes
1 tbsp lemon juice or lime
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
4 large leaves basil, chopped
2 Serrano peppers (without seeds), cut into small cubes
# For the pancakes:
1/3 cup whose seeds
1 and 1/4 cup flour
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 and 1/4 cup milk
egg 1
2 tbsp sunflower oil
vanilla
fat for frying (optional)

Method
Salsa can be prepared in advance as lasts about two weeks in a closed container (preferably glass jar) in the refrigerator. Strawberries, lemon juice, sugar, and salt are mixed in a large bowl, mixed and set aside for 30 minutes. They add basil and pepper and mix. For the preparation of pancakes whose first seeds are roasted in a dry skillet over medium heat while stirring frequently for 3-5 minutes or until darken and become fragrant. Remove from heat and leave to cool. Meanwhile, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large mixing bowl. Separately, mix well and milk, egg, 2 tbsp vegetable oil and vanilla. The dry and the wet mixture was mixed and beat until smooth mixture. Add chia seeds and mix well. thick pancakes with a diameter of about 10 cm, made from about 1/4 cup baked mixture on medium heat. If need be, the pan is brushed with grease optional. Finished pancakes are served with strawberry salsa. * whose seeds can be replaced with poppy seed. * As the seeds from whose borne by the liquid mixture becomes increasingly dense during baking * Salsa has a special taste - not very sweet but slightly bitter. Optional, may be replaced with jam of your choice, fruit with cream or ice cream, etc.
