Light dessert of apples

Ingredients
1 kg apples
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup raisins
vanilla
cinnamon
cream or egg whites
Method
Peel apples and cut into cubes. Cook with 1/3 cup water. Beat mashed with sugar. Add the walnuts (coarsely chopped), breadcrumbs, raisins, vanilla or cinnamon. Serve in cups or bowls and garnish top with whipped cream or egg whites of snow.
