Method
Pork boil 4 cups of water until the meat begins to lift off the bone. Boned and the meat is cut into chunks. Carrot cut into thin rings and together with the onion fry lightly in the oil. Add red pepper, stir well, add the oat grains, mix well. Add 2-3 cups broth and smoked meat and everything is put in a clay pot stew or glass. Bake in a microwave or in the oven to readiness, stirring a few times. If he starts to dry, add more broth. * If using chopped oats - Scottish style - can add more broth. With this type of oat pilaf is very fast, but stepva when cool; when the grains are whole becomes like rice, but he needs more salt than rice.
