The fruits are soaked in hot tea for two hours. Mix the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and baking soda. Separately mix to the egg, sugar, marmalade, orange peel and fruit with tea without squeezing. Flour mixture is added to the wet mixture, stirring gently with a spoon until a homogeneous mixture (not to be confused many). Oil is cakes form (with a capacity of about 2 liters) and it was poured the mixture. Bake in preheated oven at 180C for about 40 minutes or until ready. Allow to cool in the form 2 hours before withdrawing, then leave on a rack to cool completely. * This is a traditional Irish sweet bread for Halloween. When ready and cooled it put different fortune (coin, ring, stick), as were punched below. * If using dried fruit with more added sugar (pineapple, mango) put less sugar if not too cookies (dates, figs) - more. * More precisely preparation and products thanks to gkostova04 .

terrific offer for Halloween! Sounds delicious - will prepare for the holiday. :)
It was interesting and I wanted to find some more information about this Halloween bread. I have not read, but I found that demand is said bARmbrak (barmbrack), and not bRAmbrak. Will prepare for the holiday tomorrow and will share the results.
helped clean - thanks and congratulations of observation :)
Bread get very tasty, juicy and flavorful, although I think is cake. I made a few changes: 1) not drained fruit tea - let all the liquid (as in the comments to the original recipe said that without additional liquid mixture is very dry and the bread becomes hard); 2) I reduced the sugar to 1 pm. H., Because some of dried fruits (pineapple, mango, etc.) Have added sugar and are very sweet - again it was pretty sweet for my taste and the next time will fell more sugar; 3) Peko 40 minutes and get great. Thanks for the recipe! I love to try new things, and foreign recipes and traditions are interesting to me.
Gerry, very good looks *bread,* I love these desserts with many dried fruits. I changed the recipe slightly to reflect your success story as previously untested. Is relatively little amount of sugar, you're right that some fruits them put more extra sugar, but others are not so sweet. *Bread* comes from the direct translation of the English word bread - in English-speaking countries bread (bread) is used for dense cakes (such as banana bread, for example), but for us this is a cake.
Nevi, no need for thanks. *Bread* is great and I hope others to try.
