Basic brown sauce for meat dishes

Ingredients
3 tbsp (30 ml) vegetable oil
1/2 onion
3 tbsp (30 g) flour
3 cups (600 ml) broth
bay leaf
allspice
pepper
lemon juice
Method
Salt in hot fat stew chopped onion, then sprinkle the flour and fry until golden color. Gradually and stirring continuously, add the cold broth. The resulting sauce boil on low heat to soften the onion, season and leave sandwiching ten minutes on low heat, then served in a sauce-boat.
