Spicy rice anise

Ingredients
3 cups rice
1 potato
50 g peas
120 g almond nuts
60 g raisins
2 carrots
2 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp aniseed
1/3 cup sunflower oil
salt
Method
The rice is cleaned and washed. Potatoes, carrots and garlic are cleaned and finely chopped. Mixed with rice and peas and sauté in the oil for 5-7 minutes. Add the raisins, chopped almonds, ginger, anise and salt to taste. Pour over about 5 cups water and boil over low heat until the rice is tender and all the water is absorbed.
