1 kg small onions (shallots)
2 large onions
1/3 cup sunflower oil
4-5 tomatoes
1 head of garlic
1 tbsp flour
1 tbsp paprika
1 bay leaf
1/3 cup red wine
by 1/2 tsp black pepper, savory and salt
1 cup prunes (optional)
Coarsely chopped onion fry in the oil. When it becomes golden, add the tomatoes - peeled and chopped (can use canned), peeled onions, chopped garlic, red pepper, flour and bay leaf. Pour hot water, enough to cover the products. After the boil over low heat 5 minutes, add the wine, pepper, savory and salt. Stews under the lid until ready onion - 15-20 minutes. Optional can add chopped prunes. chomlek becomes much more delicious if prepared in a clay oven stew.

Here dishes such as love - all that is lean, with onions, garlic, tomatoes (and any other vegetables). My boys at home I do not give me cook them (you will mestse inside), but what you ask them. Sometimes they wile, and they naturally remain fascinated. What they do not know what is the most delicious ... Congratulations Eli! I really like the combination of onion (maybe a little leek), tomatoes and prunes - were fantastic. Often prepare this dish, sometimes with meat, but I did not know that it says chomlek.
