Shrimp with cream sauce

1/4 cup olive oil
5 cloves garlic
4 small onions or 1 large
2 cup white wine
2 tbsp chopped parsley
2 tbsp chopped basil leaves for decoration +
1/2 tsp thyme
2 cup cream
1 kg raw shrimp
1/2 cup grated Pecorino Romano feta cheese
cooked linguini, spaghetti or other pasta or cooked rice
pepper, salt

In a large skillet heat olive oil, add chopped onion to choke and then add the garlic (finely chopped ), stew about 2 minutes. Add the white wine and chopped fresh herbs and boil until liquid is evaporated by half. Add the cream and boil on medium heat until slightly thickened sauce, put a little salt and pepper optional. Boil pasta or rice. Wash and clean the prawns from their shell. In a separate pan heat them sunflower oil and fry the shrimp turn pink to no more than 2-3 minutes (remember that after being removed from the hot oil continue to cook until warm, so do not fried, they become very tough). When everything is ready in a large deep bowl pour pasta or rice, add shrimp ready and pour the sauce and grated feta cheese, decorate with fresh basil and is ready to serve. * I always prepare this dish with linguini, so all of them at home like. * The recipe is from the transmission Food Network, with some changes by me.
