I made this soup in several varieties and each time reaped success. One way swapped onion 2 cloves of garlic, and added a 2s.l. fresh basil, rosemary, oregano, thyme and sage. Another time I added 200 g. melted cheese. Third time swapped milk with 140 grams. sour cream. There was variety and 2s.l. grated parmesan. Instead water is delicious with chicken broth (true). Was not necessary to add flour to thicken until boil. As a side dish I prepared croutons seasoned with oregano and basil, but I had no time firing two slices of toast covered with olive oil and sprinkle them with salt and colorful cut into triangles.
