quinces
800 g sugar
1 liter of water

Method
Ripe quinces wiped, washed and cleaned from the seeds, then cut into slices with a thickness of about 1-2 cm. Cut quinces rank in jars and pour hot syrup sugar and water. The jars are closed and sterilized for 25 minutes. The products are for 4-7 jar of 1 liter.

I do not suppose it's the 100 kg. quinces. Please be as accurate recipes can express

When preparing preserves many quantities vary according to the needs, wishes and possibilities - some make a few jars, fill other purposes basements. The recipe is completely clear - given proportion of syrup and fruit are as complicated. I think normal compote fruit is about 1/3 and 2/3 volume of fluid, but it is a matter of taste. My grandmother made compotes with different ratios of fruit / liquid to please various claims in family :)

It's hard to agree with this, 7 1 liter jar to use total 1. 8 syrup! Must now put how much fruit? To fill them! Sounds lame.
